In July of 2022, Belief Emadamerho started the 7 Mile/Mapleview Block Club.

What is the purpose of the 7 Mile/Mapleview Block Club?

The 7 Mile/Mapleview Block Club was formed as a result of the encouragement of the Mayor of the City of Detroit, the Most Honorable Michael Edward Duggan, to:

•  reduce crime in the Osborn neighborhood
• bring the members of the Osborn neighborhood together in fellowship
• encourage members of the Detroit East side to keep the neighborhood clean
•  help businesses in the neighborhood to foster good relationships with the community members
• identify senior citizens in the neighborhood in need of assistance.

In September of 2022, Belief Emadamerho started the  Fordham Block Club.

What is the purpose of the Fordham Block Club?

The 7 Mile/Mapleview Block Club was formed as a result of the encouragement of the Mayor of the City of Detroit, the Most Honorable Michael Edward Duggan, to:

•  reduce crime in the Osborn neighborhood
• bring the members of the Osborn neighorhood together in fellowship
• encourage members of the Detroit East side to keep the neighborhood clean
•  help businesses in the neighborhood to foster good relationships with the community members
• identify senior citizens in the neighborhood in need of assistance (for example, the Club helped a couple of seniors who had received tickets from the City of Detroit for keeping their trach cans outside).
